Safaricom is probably more the pride of Kenya than Kenya Airways. We love this company. If you ask me, its prices are exorbitant but part of the peculiar Kenyan trends the former CEO of the company talked about is that we are a loyal lot,; high prices or not it is ‘ours’ so we stick to it.
I love Jesus but hate the church. I have been hearing this statement being used far too often of late. And if I had written this blogpost a couple of months back I would have a condescending voice, I would ask questions like why, questions like how; not the nice kind of why and how questions, but the condescending ones.
I believe one of the biggest enemy of any Christian walk is fear. Our fears take many forms. Some of these fears we even spiritualize but when we are truly honest, we recognize these fears for what they really are. These fears hold as back from the greatness God has called us to. (more…)
Last week was such a beautiful week, I am so happy to write that. After a couple of strangely difficult weeks I decided that perhaps I was just a tired lot who needed a break to smell the roses and all those nice things then perhaps I would emerge a happier more in-touch lady.
